Cyprus has so many connections to the emotion of love, that it is an ideal destination to hold a romantic wedding. Mark Anthony gave Cyprus to Cleopatra as a symbol of his love – it is also the birthplace of ‘Aphrodite’, goddess of love. So you will be in good company if you choose this idyllic island as the site of your special day.
Cyprus is a contemporary country that effortlessly marries European culture with ancient enchantment. Beautiful Beaches, rolling countryside, traditional villages and bustling harbours all can be found. Situated on the south west coast of Cyprus; Paphos holds great appeal to visitors of all ages. With a wealth of ancient sites including the fascinating Tomb of the Kings, Paphos blends a traditional charm, in the narrow winding streets and market place of the old town, with a wide choice of modern amenities.
Cyprus boosts a typical Mediterranean climate. Summers are warm/hot and dry with virtually no rainfall between the middle of May until the middle of October. Winters are in the main mild except in the mountains where snow is quite frequent. The peak time for rain is between December and February. We therefore recommend any time outside of this time to visit, with sun almost guaranteed during the summer months.

You need to have been resident for at least 3 working days prior to the ceremony and present your passport & birth certificate. In addition you need to swear an affidavit (a document obtained from a Notary, usually a solicitor.) This displays your personal details and eligibility to marry (certificate of no impediment). It must be signed & stamped by the Notary. Rules vary if you have been married before or are under 18 years old. This is a guide and we would always check for the very latest information.Passports
No visa’s are required for British passport holders, provided their stay does not exceed 90 days. Validity is only required until the date of return, however we would always recommend that you have 6 months validity after your return date. There can be implications if you hold visas or stamps for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.-

As well as offering a huge number of wedding only packages we can also arrange flights and accommodation for both you and your wedding party. We are happy to deal with not only your travel arrangements as well as individual guests.
