Maldives Weddings

More & more couples are choosing to have an idyllic ceremony on the beach, on this chain of heavenly islands. Although residents can only have the legally binding Muslim ceremony offered, nowadays all is not lost! Why not have a simple civil service in the UK, either before or after and then hold your main wedding celebration on the island – inviting friends & family, if you wish. The ‘Renewal of Vows’ ceremonies offered on the islands are so magical. You are to all intense and purpose having a ‘wedding’ ceremony and we can guarantee you will be treated like ‘Bride & Groom’. So please do take a look at our extensive list of available ceremonies – we are confident you will find something to match your dream day. Another option would be getting married in stunning Sri Lanka and spending your honeymoon in the Maldives. This 2 centre option is one frequently taken and allows you to embrace the culture & beauty of Sri Lanka, before heading off, maybe by seaplane to the Maldives for total relaxation.

The Maldives have a hot tropical climate. There are two monsoons, the southwest from May to October and the northeast from November to April. Generally the southwest brings more wind and rain in June and July. The temperature rarely falls below 25°C (77°F). Late December to April is the best time to visit.
