Sugar Beach Resort

Sugar Beach Resort is located on the West Coast of Mauritius, overlooking a stunning stretch of beach. Once a historic sugar plantation, it has been converted into a world resort. Set in 20 acres of tropical gardens, it is a luscious paradise.

Accommodation is of a high standard and comes in the form of Manor House rooms or Beachfront Villas. All offer modern facilities including air conditioning, cable TV with in house films, min-bar, safe, hairdryer and internet. You will also be able to sit on your very own balcony or terrace, these come as standard on every room. The Villas are more spacious and enjoy ocean views.

There is a wealth of water sports and activities to keep you occupied: windsurfing, laser-sailing, water-skiing and kayaking, scuba-diving, big game fishing and parasailing. Land lovers can enjoy a game of tennis – floodlit if you fancy a night match, beach volleyball, 9-hole putting green, table tennis, badminton, yoga, aerobics, mini-football, mountain biking and even horse riding. (Some activities are chargeable). There is also a large swimming pool, fitness centre & spa. Facilities are shared with adjacent sister resort La Pirogue.

Board is either on a half board or all inclusive basis and you can dine at the main restaurant ‘Mon Plasir’. There is also a café and several bars with pool service.

Evening entertainment is provided, which includes live music and there is a kids club for 2-11 year olds and to keep the teenagers busy, a teen club for 12-20 years.
