Oberoi

The Oberoi is located at Turtle Bay, on the sheltered North West coast of the island and is a member of 'Leading Small Luxury Hotels of the World'. The resort is ideally placed and is within easy reach of Grand Baie. Set in twenty acres of its very own gardens, this exquisite property overlooks the ocean; in fact it boasts 600 meters of prime ocean footage and includes a marine park. The design of this resort focuses on simplicity from the outside & sumptuous interiors. A village feel to the resort is enhanced by single level pavilions & villas, built using natural materials such as: thatch, stone & marble. The influence from Asian, African and European cultures have all fused to craft an oasis of calm. The opulent Oberoi has a unique and ambience with unsurpassed levels of service and offers the definitive, luxurious haven in which to relax and totally escape from the pressures of modern life.

The resort has lots to offer, including 2 restaurants: ‘The Patio’ and ‘The Restaurant’, where you can enjoy excellent Creole, Indian, Oriental & International cuisine – particularly delightful is the restaurants design, open air & thatched.

Guests may choose between Luxury Pavilions and Luxury Villas, most of which have their own private pools. All come with a balcony/terrace, air-conditioning, tea/coffee facilities, telephone, safe, hairdryer, satellite TV, CD, DVD, radio, internet access (if you must!), bath robes and a mini-bar.

Free activities include: water-skiing, windsurfing, pedalos, kayaks, hobie cats, tennis & gym or for a fee you can enjoy: scuba-diving, deep-sea fishing, parasailing, speed boat & catamaran excursions, or a round of golf. There is of course a spa with sauna & steam room to provide relaxation (chargeable) and a beauty salon to ensure you look your very best! (Chargeable). Low key evening entertainment is also provided. There is a Kids Club for the little ones. Transfer time to the resort is approximately 50 minutes.
